Mélange is a mixture of elements, a blend. This wonderful combination of Grenache and Syrah was made in small, hand-punched lots. Soft, supple tannins, good balance and a lingering finish follow a blackberry-dominated nose with hints of violets and black pepper. This is a wine for the barbecue, a beautiful accompaniment to grilled meats, vegetables and smoky cheeses.
